Fresh pork sausage
This fresh pork sausage is prepared according to traditional methods in our own sausage factory. The sausages are made of pork mince and a fine blend of herbs. The herb mix for this sausage was composed by Onze Woeste chef/ butcher. He only uses 100% organic herbs and Celtic sea salt for this blend.

  • Take the meat out of the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator.
  • Rehydrate it first: Fill a pan with hot water, put the sausage in and bring to the boil.
  • Remove the sausage from the pan and pat dry with a piece of kitchen roll.
  • Melt the butter in the pan.
  • Once the foam has disappeared, fry the sausage in the butter.
  • Fry the meat for about 2 minutes until brown on medium-high heat.
  • Add half a cup of water to the butter and cook for another 10 minutes on a low flame.
