This organic chicken leg is cut with a backbone. Delicious for roasting, but you can also use these legs for making chicken soup.

  1. Take the chicken out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the butter in a high frying pan.
  4. Fry the chicken in the butter when the foam has disappeared.
  5. Fry the chicken for 5 minutes until nicely browned on medium heat.
  6. Put a lid on the pan, lower the heat and let the chicken roast gently for another 15 minutes, turning the meat halfway through.
